Hello!

I’m Sarah, and creating engaging visuals is my passion. I love connecting people by documenting in a way that invites curiosity and engagement. I’m often told ‘you’re so creative!’, but for me my work is just a way to channel the details I see everyday. This year I will be travelling to various parts of Alberta photographing Equestrians for my self-published fine-art ‘zine project: [WLDRSE]. As a life-long Albertan and equestrian, it has been so fulfilling to work with and alongside the folks in the Agriculture industry.

FAQs

  • I’m located just north of Spruce Grove, Alberta. I frequently service the greater Edmonton area, and am familiar with rural backroads in Alberta. I do travel and would love to hear more about your project- wherever you are! Travel fees may apply to locations greater than 50km from Edmonton.

  • The majority of my clients book 1-3 months out. I can occasionally accommodate last minute requests for coverage. Shoot me a message!

  • After a robust 10+ years photographing some amazing weddings, I no long offer wedding coverage. High-volume event photography is also something I no longer take on. I can always refer you to some amazing local photographers!

  • I do offer mini sessions, typically twice a year. Once in the Spring and again in the Fall. These are a great way to update family photos or headshots on a budget. Mini sessions are typically a single day, marathon style booking with 15-20 minute time slots.

  • Honestly, not as bad as everyone thinks! My style of shooting is casual and efficient. Modern cameras are so quiet you may not even notice when I am taking shots. At the end of the day I am there to create for you. I offer just the right amount of posing guidance and can often bring out the relaxed side of even the most reluctant partners, kids, or staff.
